Fits perfect after a few adjustments with the straps. You can put the vest on in seconds. Vest came with two plates, plus 2 extra plates. I put all plates on vest, now I have 2 plates for the front and 2 plates for the back. Well worth the price.

When I received the package it seemed very light. Upon opening it smelled like chemicals. The "plates" are Foam inserts. Just thought they would appear stronger. The vest is small compared to other vests i have - not many pockets to hold mags. It just doesn't give me confidence if it comes to needing it.
I guess overall for the price it is a good lightweight option to reduce chances of stab injuries.

Two sides to the story in my rating . . .
Bought 2 vest. The one for my wife fits good she put it on and I assisted in adjusting it for her. It’s a bit stiff but wearing it to the range or just being outside I believe it will loosen up.
Now on to me . . . I’m quite a bit heftier than the fair lady in my life. I could not pull the Velcro to catch. I’m talking to Maria at P. L. to resolve this.

I guess I like how the vest looks. The grey plates that came with it look like just foam rubber. I am highly skeptical as to whether or not they would stop a knife,let alone stop a bullet! And the black additional black plates don't look much ch different. They too look like just plain foam rubber. There is no documentation as far as ballistic test that were completed on this vest and plates! It's hard to imagine me trusting my life this item!

ThI carrier is nice, but as in the email I wrote to your company, you advertising is VERY misleading. I bought two
sets, one for me and one for my son, to get protection with the two free “plates” y’all advertise. It ended up being two foam inserts that wouldn’t stop a knife. I work in retail and when we offer BOGO items you get what is offered. Not a misleading representation that won’t perform to what is advertised. Very disappointed in the integrity of your practices.

The vests are as advertised. They are light and comfortable. Easy to adjust. The trauma pads they sent along were what I expected. I expected the weave for knife protection to be a bit denser and tighter weave.
I have always had a personal issue with all manufacturers as the vests are bult to cover only the chest and back leaving the sides and, lower back and belly unprotected. I recognize that it is the standard, to protect the heart and lungs.

Way tiny, wasn't this size since I was 13. Maybe my grandson can use it for airsoft. I guess if there were other sizes offered, it was in the small print.
